Project description

Located near King Salman Park in Riyadh, this project envisions a destination of appreciation and experience as a place where culture, innovation, and landscape come together to create an enduring urban landmark. Surrounded by a rapidly evolving district of new attractions, the design seeks to captivate visitors through a spatial narrative that balances cultural depth with contemporary appeal.

The masterplan is structured around a central dual axis and quartered public spaces, forming a geometry that both organizes the site and connects it seamlessly with its surroundings. These interwoven axes extend outward, drawing people from multiple directions and fostering a continuous dialogue between the city and the world.

Inspired by the Charbagh, the classical Persian and Islamic garden that symbolizes the prototype of ideal human habitation, the landscape framework embodies four flowing forces: the Rivers of Spirit, Nourishment, Abundance, and Inspiration. Together, they merge into a living system that channels movement, water, and energy across the site, transforming it into a “River of Life”, a timeless metaphor for growth, balance, and renewal.
